The dermal fillers used at Highfield Aesthetics are all hyaluronic acid based fillers. Since hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, our bodies have the ability to metabolise it, which is why these treatments are not permanent.

On average, we allow an hour for consultation and treatment.

Yes! With all dermal filler treatments you will see some change immediately, however depending on the area treated, some results can take up to two weeks to take full effect.

This is highly dependent on the area treated, your metabolism and sun exposure. People with a fast metabolism or fail to use high SPF sun screen are more likely to see their results diminish faster. On average, our dermal filler treatments tend to last anywhere between 6-12 months.

Most side effects are mild and usually last less than 7 days. Persistence of these symptoms for up to two weeks is usually nothing to worry about. The most common side effects include temporary injection site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching and discoloration. Other risks are possible but are very rare and are discussed with you in detail during your consultation.

There is some very mild pain experienced with our dermal filler treatments. To make our treatments as comfortable as possible, we use topical anaesthetic and filler with added lidocaine to help numb the area.

At Highfield Aesthetics, we exclusively use the Belotero dermal filler range by Merz, which are manufactured in line with European health, safety and environmental protection standards. Futhermore, we purchase all of our dermal filler directly from a UK based pharmacy to ensure their authenticity.
